Port de Pollença

Port de Pollença is a jewel in Mallorca’s crown, the perfect place to base yourself for birdwatching, drinking in the Island’s culture and heritage, hiking and biking, beaches and watersports.

The northernmost town on Mallorca, Port de Pollença is one of the Island’s leading tourist destinations and has been a much-loved spot for Pollençans and Islanders since the mid 1900s.

It’s also a magnet for bird-lovers, with the Natural Reserve of S’Albufereta and the wetlands area of La Gola attracting some of the world’s most eye-catching and sought after bird life.

Port de Pollença was originally a fishing village and today you can still spot traditional fishing boats, or llauts, in the harbour, alongside stunning yachts. It is the ideal spot from which to cast your net in search of the charms and attractions of north Mallorca.

Within the area of the Port there are almost 1,500 metres of white sandy beaches, incorporating the Platja de Llenaire and the Platja d’Albercuix, which runs alongside the Pine Walk.
