The town’s sea front stretches for a considerable distance alongside many beaches so it is important when selecting your accommodation to make sure you know it’s location as you may be some distance from the centre of town.Should you choose to stay away from the centre there is a regular bus service to both Pollensa and Alcudia. Local taxi’s are both plentiful and reasonably priced and the taxi rank can be found on the sea front at the roundabout.

The refurbished La Goleta Hotel de Mar, located a few minutes’ walk from the bird information centre at La Gola is one we would recommend to both birdwatchers and hikers alike.
This excellent hotel is located on the sea front and has its own ground floor restaurant named ARGOS which was recently awarded a Michelin Star.
Those visitors who come for water sports or cycling should consider the Hotel Duva on the outskirts of town which has great facilities and several swimming pools.
If lazing on the beach is your choice of holiday then the Hotel Miramar, with its excellent restaurant, is ideally located on the sea front promenade surrounded by many other restaurants including one of the oldest Mallorcan restaurants in the town, the IRU and the recently opened Himalaya India restaurant which is very highly rated.
Those seeking accommodation at a modest price may want to try the Pension Bellavista located in a peaceful location in the centre of town adjacent to the renowned Bellaverde vegetarian and vegan restaurant.
