The spectacle of water

On this route the trail is dominated by water. The first stretch passes, at times, alongside the Sant Jordi and Son Marc streams and finally the Llinars stream. Following heavy rain the sea cliffs can often become a spectacular waterfall, known locally as the Salt de Llinars. Just after this point there are windmills which were once used to grind wheat, and which form a very interesting piece of heritage dating back to the time Arabian rule on the Island.
